When you spend your days caring for someone else, it’s easy to lose sight of your own voice.
Finding Compassion for Yourself is a gentle, free creative writing course designed especially for unpaid carers, a space to pause, reflect, and reconnect with yourself through words. No writing experience is needed, just curiosity and a willingness to explore.
Through simple guided exercises and supportive conversation, you’ll discover how creativity can nurture self-compassion, ease isolation, and help you feel heard again. Alongside others who understand the realities of caring, you’ll have the chance to share stories, laughter, and quiet moments of reflection.
A free taster session takes place on Wednesday 24th June, 12.30–2.30pm at Linden Hall Community Centre, Hampton, followed by a four-week course running throughout July.
Because carers deserve care too.
