We are excited to share some wonderful news. Richmond Mencap’s application to Tesco Stronger Starts has been successfully selected for the in-store customer vote!
From the first week of October 2025 until mid-January 2026, customers, aka YOU, will be able to vote for our project every time you shop at selected Tesco stores in our community.
We are raising support for Zumba classes for adults with learning disabilities. These classes will:
- Encourage fitness and healthy living
- Promote wellbeing and independence
- Create opportunities for friendship, confidence, and social interaction
- Provide a fun, inclusive environment for all participants
With your votes, we can make this project a reality and bring the joy of movement to our wonderful community.
How You Can Help
It’s simple:
- Shop at Tesco in participating stores.
- Pick up a blue token at checkout.
- Pop your token in the Richmond Mencap box at the Stronger Starts voting unit.
