The World of Fun hub is a partnership between Richmond Mencap, Three Wings Trust, National Autistic Society Richmond and supported by Strathmore School. This summer we will be delivering:
There is no limit to how many days/activities you can book but you will need to fill out a medical form and communication passport for your child.
Due to the funding stream for this project priority for places will go to young people who live in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames and who are eligible to be on the Richmond Council Disabled Children's Register.
Places are £15 per day.
The scheme is aimed at young people with learning disabilities, social communication conditions and additional needs and we can only support up to 2 people per day who require 1:1 support. The service generally cannot support young people who may require a medical intervention, physical intervention (restraint) and those who require more than 1:1 support.
We are working with other holiday scheme providers to share information about how best to support individual young people and in the allocation of spaces. Please complete the attached information sharing form to indicate which organisations you are happy for information to be shared between and return it with the booking form.
We are committed to discuss individuals on a case by case basis so do contact us to discuss.
Thank you and we look forward to seeing you in the summer.
