We are PLAY, a group of people supported by Richmond Mencap, who get involved in every aspect of running an event. Set up in October 2009, PLAY has grown in confidence and now has an impressive list of events ranging from successful club nights, four brilliant comedy nights, a Summer Festival on Richmond Waterfront and a skateboard and street art event, all of which raised our profile across the borough. 

The project was created by a group of people with a passion for parties, music and fun and the aim is to create great inclusive nights out for everyone. 

Our events will always offer the chance to explore different cultural ideas at a range of events, like music, DJ nights, bands, comedy, art and dance. 

At the moment we are thinking about what events we can set up next, after a very successful comedy event on the 16th June, and an event on June 18th called Skatism at the Kingsfield Park, where there was music and street art, as well as BMX, skating competitions and displays.
