Action Group

We are the Action Group and live in the Borough of Richmond upon Thames. We are passionate about campaigning, lobbying, and standing up for our rights. Our role is also to be involved in the Richmond Mencap committee and we regularly consult on the services Richmond Mencap deliver and the things that we think are important. 

There are 8 members on our group and each one of us has completed the 'train the trainer' training. This now means that the group can stand up and be confident in running our own training sessions. We have begun putting together some learning disability awareness training which we are excited to say will be up and running by the Autumn.
